What to bring

Context, not pitches.

  • Commodity and spec you're working with
  • Volume, tonnage, or production capacity
  • Destination, origin, or trading corridor
  • Timeline — urgent, quarterly, exploratory
  • Prior correspondence or counterparty detail (if relevant)
  • The question you actually want answered
Who you'll speak with

A facilitator, not sales.

A member of Procurement Institute's facilitation desk. Someone who reads your context before the call, has seen the corridor you're asking about, and can make decisions during the conversation.

Call FAQ

Common questions.

Practical things people ask before booking a call with the desk.

How long is the call?
30 minutes by default. If we need more time on a complex requirement, we'll extend or schedule a follow-up — no rushed endings.
Is there a fee for the consultation?
No. Consultations are complimentary. We only charge facilitation fees on successfully executed transactions, agreed in advance of engagement.
Can you sign an NDA before we speak?
Yes. Mutual NDA can be executed before the call on request — we keep a standard template ready. For particularly sensitive cases, we can review and counter-sign client NDAs.
What if I need to reschedule?
Email the desk at least 4 hours ahead and we'll rearrange. Same-day rescheduling is fine if something urgent comes up — we understand how physical commodity work runs.
Do you record the call?
Never. Calls are not recorded. You'll receive written notes after, summarising what was discussed and agreed. If you want a co-listener from our side for a second perspective, let us know in advance.
Can multiple people from our team join?
Absolutely. Add your colleagues' emails in the context field and we'll include them on the invite. Group calls of 3-4 work well for procurement committees and trading desks.
Not quite ready?

Submit a written requirement instead.

If your request is detailed — specs, volumes, documentation — the intake form captures it all in structured form and saves us both time on the call.
